Mario A. Garcia
Mario Garcia was born to love "God" his family and then to have a deep passion for cars, and trucks. He has over 25 years of auto body and paint experience and has worked for sophisticated dealerships, auto body franchises such as Calibers to small family owned body shops. He is I-Car Platinum Certified and earned several awards throughout his career for outstanding technician and employee. His dream of owning his own body shop became a reality on June 8, 2015!
Grace H Garcia
Grace Garcia worked for the American Lung Association for 7 years as a Program Director in Fort Worth before going to the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) as a Training Coordinator in San Angelo. After 4 years with the SBDC in San Angelo, she then went to work for the University of Texas in San Antonio - Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) as the Training Coordinator for the department. During her tenure with the SBDC and the PTAC she gained experience on how to run a successful small business and how to work with the government. She has used this invaluable experience to successfully assist with the opening of Texas Lonestar Collision and to manage the daily operations of the shop. Excellent Customer Service is Grace's motto, as she knows first hand the importance of customer satisfaction. There is no better compliment than to be referred by someone.
Master Body Technician
Hector Garcia is our body Technician with 30+ years of experience working for the auto body industry. Hector, like Mario (they are brothers) has a great passion for cars and trucks. He also has worked for sophisticated dealerships, auto body franchises to small body shops. He has also worked on the most complex repairs to small dent jobs. There is no job to big for Hector! His expertise is invaluable and he puts it to work on every vehicle that comes to Texas Lonestar Collision. Hector has earned his I-Car Platinum Certification and is certified as a welder and framer.
Ricky Garcia started his auto body career in June of 2015. He is the youngest technician but has gain a great deal of experience during his first year of employment. Ricky is an expert in dis-assembling and re-assembling vehicles together. It comes natural to him. Before working with Texas Lonestar Collision he worked on power plants working on windmill turbines. While there he gain experience with machinery mechanics which is useful knowledge for working with vehicles. As the owner of a 2007 yellow corvette Ricky (like his father, Mario) has a love of cars and trucks and uses that passion to carefully put the finishing touches to the vehicles at the shop. Ricky is also one of our estimators and he will carefully review the damages of any vehicle to give our customer's a fair and honest estimate.
Tyra M Chappa
Tyra came to work for Texas Lonestar Collision the Spring of 2016 as the Office Coordinator. She is an Angelo State University graduate and has previously worked as a Pre-k teacher. Tyra however, has worked as a leasing agent at various apartment complexes and has worked as a ad sales representative for the San Angelo Standard times. With all this experience she has mastered the art of customer service, marketing and is the first friendly face that you will see when you visit Texas Lonestar Collision. She is the spunky, excited voice over the phone offering customer's excellent service. Tyra will go out of her way to help with insurance claims, make customers feel welcomed and comfortable during the repair process of their vehicle.
